Lions Peak has played a significant role in the history of the Paso Robles AVA. The vineyard began with the planting of the first 25 acre historical own rooted Cabernet Sauvignon Estate vineyard in the early 1970’s. The 1994 Estate Grown Cabernet Sauvignon began the creation of LP’s 33 year journey in the wine industry. As could be noted, a life filled with memories of times at the vineyard and winery which encompassed… growing, planting, harvesting , and just the state of being with nature..

At Lions Peak we believe that wine is not a status symbol, but a companion to meals that lingers, tops conversations that unfold slowly to an evening that ask nothing more than presence. Lions Peak Wine belongs on the table , not the pedestal.
As we move forward, Lions Peak becomes a way of having as much of a way of drinking…a celebration of ritual, seasonality and understand beauty… an invitation to slow down without stepping back, classic, but never rigid. LP is grounded in heritage and yet alive in the present moment.
