OUR SAN MIGUEL LEGACY OFFERING WINES OF HISTORICAL ORGIN
Lions Peak has been part of the California growth of the wine industry since 1992. We were farmers first, and then we became producers of boutique ultra premium wines. In the early 1990’s it was still possible for individuals to enter the wine industry and own a vineyard with limited assets. Our family was one of those individuals that loved the dream and choose to live it.
Many who bought a vineyard only saw the glamorous side of the wine industry: however, I can personally state that farming and Mother Nature are equal in producing an exceptional vintage of wine ! At the end of the day , the American dream of owning a vineyard was dedication , hard work, and a life that was worth living.
Lions Peak’s historical tasting room legacy began in downtown Paso Robles in 1998 in Bank Building on 14th and Spring Street. After the 2004 earth quake in Paso Robles , Lions Peak had the opportunity to open a tasting room in Solvang, followed by Thousand Oaks in 2023, and Lions Peak Wine Cellars , an International Wine tasting room. in Cambria in 2007.
We are very grateful to have met so many lovely people over our 27 years in our tasting rooms: however, during Covid and after, we came to the realization that our time was best served doing what we do best…making premium wines and sharing what we have learned from our personal experience of farming, winemaking, and wine education.
Lions Peak has returned to its roots in Paso Robles, and all now of our operations are centrally located . We have brought together new technology, for our online website, our winery storage, and fulfillment of all of our wine clubs and wine sales.
Lions Peak’s focus will be on the production of small lots of premium wines and providing you with wine education. We are looking forward to having zoom events for our club members that will focus on our wines, wine education, food pairings, and sharing the judging and wine competitions information that we shall continue to be a part.
