A big and full bodied red with ripe expressions of jammy raspberry ,blackberry , black cherry, plum, cranberry fruit. The wine is enhanced by candied spice and a tobacco smoky finish. The wine is 100% Zinfandel and has been aged in French and American oak.
Zinfandel pairs well with BBQ dishes and curry dishes. It also pairs well with with lamb, pork, bacon, ham , and veal and on ighter meat pairings are quail, turkey.
Cheese pairings are sheep's mlk cheeses such as Manchego, Cheddar, and Trentingrana.
For vegatariain fare roasted tomato, red peppers, carmelized onion, roasted squash, apricot, peach, cranberry, spiced apple, and beets.
