Lionnesse is a rich, complex, elegant, with intense color, splendid structure, balance, and smooth tannins with a long lingering finish. A Bordeaux blend of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, and 20% Cabernet Franc that has aged in 100% French oak. The wine is medium bodied to full bodied with aromas of black currant, plums and earthy notes with a burst of minerality and fruity notes on the finish. The tannins are high enough for the wine to continue to have longuity for many years to come.
