2019 Lions Tears is a special wine that winemaker and owner, Jennifer Soni-Arant, has produced haloing the 50 year old ,own rooted, Cabernet Sauvignon vines on the Heritage Block of the Lions Peak Estate. home. Lions Tears is the latest marriage of the Cabernet Sauvignon Estate fruit to produce an old world-new world Bordeaux styled wine. The wine is fruit forward and has flavors of black cherry fruit, cassis, chocolate, currants, and spices which are long lingering on the palate. The wine has been aged in 100% French oak cooperage which adds to the complexty of the wines grafeful finish. Lions Tears is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon . The grapes were hand harvested from the Lions Peak Estate 50 year old vine block. Our goal at Lions Peak is to produce wines without compromise to the environment. New Release
