This Reserve Cabernet Sauvigon has been barrel aged in new Nadelia French oak cooperage and is recognized to be an Old World style Cabernet Sauvignon, typical of traditional French Bordeaux wines. The wine is sophisticated, balanced, and exhibits classic characteristics of blackberry, black cherry, and tobacco which is enhanced with flavors of exotic spices and vanillin oak. This Cabernet with its depth of color and elegant finish is ready to be enjoyed now, or it will age for many years to come. Decanting is recommeded before serving.
Cabernet Sauvignon can typicaly pair well with a variety cheese, such as Cheddar, mozzarella, goat cheese, and Brie.
In regards to food pairing, Cabernet Sauvignon is bold and can overpower light and delicate dishes. We recommend pairing the wine with nearly all red meat, including prime rib, New York strip, filet mignon, and lamb.
