Dear Lions Peak’s Family of Friends,
Beginning on July 24th, Lions Peak’s Solvang Tasting Room is officially re-opening for indoor tastings. We have benefited from serving outdoors during the past year of COVID and will be applying what we have learned as we move club members and others back inside.
Those tasting our fine wines out-of-doors have made it clear they enjoy an open, uncrowded environment. They also like the additional attention and answers to their questions that come with the lack of indoor crowding. We will be doing our best to continue this enhanced wine tasting experience as we establish our new indoor (and continue our outdoor) service from Thursday afternoon through Monday late afternoon.
We have reduced our indoor seating and limited tastings to parties of two. Our indoor tasting experience is set up for Lions Peak Wine Flights. Our goal is to provide you with optimum service and wine knowledge.
RESERVATION POLICY
GUEST GUIDELINES: INDOOR AND OUTDOOR TASTINGS
All seating is limited to those 21 years or older. Food and drink are limited to Lions Peak Wine, cheese platters, chocolates, and food provided by Lions Peak’s vendor-partners. Animals are not permitted, except for service animals. We are not able to accommodate “Shared Tastings” and “Two for One” Tastings, or the splitting of larger groups for tastings.
WINE TASTING INDOOR AND OUTDOOR
Lions Peak offers “flights” of five different red or white wines ($25 each plus tax) and wine-by-the-glass ($20 whites- $25.00 reds each plus tax). Truffle chocolate pairings with four different red or white wines are also available ($25 each plus tax).
Wine by the glass and wines by the bottle are available on request.
BY APPOINTMENT: WINEMAKER-GUIDED TASTING
Jennifer Arant, our owner-winemaker-sommelier, will also be scheduling private, guided tastings of Lions Peak’s red wines only. Tastings will be 60 minutes in length and begin at the top of each hour. Guided tastings include five wines ranging from our Reserve Cabernet Sauvignons, Cabernet blends, three Bordeaux Varietal Wines, and Cabernet Port for $45.00 per person with tasting notes. An optional pairing of wine and cheese is available with tasting notes for $65.00 a person. The tasting fee will be waived with the joining either our Collectors or Proprietors Wine Clubs.
CANCELLATIONS AND LATE ARRIVALS
Should your plans change, your reservation can be cancelled at any time; however, we request that you do up so at least 24 hours in advance so that Lions Peak can plan accordingly. If your party is more than 15 minutes late, we shall do our best to accommodate you based on availability.
Tasting outdoors is a first-come-first-served basis. Reservations are not required for smaller parties of 3 persons for Lions Peak outdoor tastings. LP’s outdoor tastings are scheduled for 30 minutes.

RESERVATIONS FOR PARTIES 4-6 PERSONS
On Saturday and Sunday, Tasting Room hours will be available from 10:00 AM until Noon to accommodate larger parties of 4-6 people. On Fridays, and Mondays hours for larger parties of 4-6 persons are from 11:00 AM until 2:30 PM.
Parties larger than 4 people will be charged $30.00 per person. Indoor tastings will be limited to 30 minutes.

Hours may vary on weekdays due to vineyard and winery operations.
